Jason Rehkopf

Owner

Jason Rehkopf is the owner and operator of JR Customs and Collision. He has lived in Big Rapids his entire life. Jason started working in the auto body industry in 1994. Throughout his career, he has continuously taken educational classes to further his auto repair skills and make a name for himself in the auto body industry.

Larry Buffin

Painter

Larry Buffin’s career in the auto body industry started at Brinks Body Shop when he was 15. Larry worked for Brinks Body Shop for seven years. Larry wanted to try something a little different, so he headed to Grand Rapids where he painted semis for a year. After that year, Larry came back and worked at Scott’s Body Shop under owner Scott Taylor for 14 years until Scott sold the body shop. Larry was still employed at Scott’s Body Shop for an additional 14 years.

Tammy Weaver

Office Manager

Tammy Weaver is the Office Manager at JR Customs and Collision. Tammy has lived in Big Rapids for 16 years and has worked at Jr Customs and Collision since 2020.  Her attention to detail is exaclty what Jason needed as his business started to grow.   She is the friendly face you first meet when you arrive and always answers the phone ready to assist with your needs.
